Isn't possible that god created us to adapt?

I have heard very little on this subject. It seems people believe that god created us just as we are now, or that we have evolved over millions of years from a magical big bang. I think that there is a god. But I also think that god created us to adapt knowing that the world would change and we would need to change with it. I also think it is possible that when man started to roam the earth and starting mating with other races and cultures it has stopped us from evolving. Now I know this goes against the bible. but come on the bible forgot to mention dinosaurs when talking about creation. think that this question would be good in the religion section too think i will post it in both.
