Such structures are held to signify many things, including a cultures ingenuity, power, or even their mystical relationship to the unknown. What types of contemporary creations do you think carry similar significance for contemporary mankind? Are there any creations or developments of modern humanity, which parallel the meanings that these ancient structures had during the ancient period?
